The images for this book are the blood of some of my dear friends in Denver, who graciously supplied me with a single drop of their blood. After a month of degradation, I photographed the slides under a microscope, which revealed the striking, hidden landscapes within. I then printed them on transparency, where the viewer is invited to rearrange and interact with them.
